Leadership
Ed is the San Francisco Bay Area Regional Manager for the TRI Commercial Real Estate offices located in Walnut Creek, San Jose, Oakland, and San Francisco. The SF Bay Area real estate services operation is a full-service Leasing, Consulting and Investment Service Company specializing in office, industrial, life sciences, medical, retail, multi-family and investments and consulting services throughout Northern California.
Specialization
Ed is a specialist in leasing and sales of office, medical and retail properties and commercial/residential mixed used projects. He has vast experience with distressed properties, land sales, securing project entitlements, economic development consulting and real estate valuation. Ed also provides consulting and economic development services studies to cities, tenants, and developers including City of Walnut Creek, Concord, Antioch, San Leandro, Benicia, Hayward, Laguna Beach, Solano Development Corporation, Lewis Homes, Lennar, UCSF amongst others.
Professional Background
Ed’s career spans 40 plus years in the real estate industry in the San Francisco Bay area. After starting his career at Grubb & Ellis in 1977, Ed ran his own development company from 1983 – 1992 including building houses in Danville and Alamo.
Community Involvement
In addition to his management and brokerage activities, Ed enjoys public speaking and community service. He is a frequent speaker on a wide range of topics including real estate, transportation issues, business development, work force issues and downtown suburban/urban trends. Ed’s community involvement includes:
- Vice Chair, Economic Alliance for Business (EDA);
- Board of Directors, East Bay Leadership Council.
- Member Bay Area Council, Past Co-Chair Transportation Task Force
- Diablo Valley Community College Tech Initiative Bd. 2018 to present
- Chamber Music San Francisco Board Member in Walnut Creek since 2014
